Great little sushi spot. No complaints service is OK. Food is good.

The food was good. The service was fast and efficient, but maybe missing the kind of service I have experienced many times in Japan. A little smile would help a lot.

Come here a couple times of the year whenever we're craving Japanese food. We always order the fried oysters and squid as they are not very common elsewhere. Both the hot food and sushi are worth trying out. A lot of people get take out but sit in service is also very comfortable :))

We came to this place for a meeting. my friend recommended this spot. Well, it was very successful. we were warmly welcomed by the crew and we had a fantastic feeling. The meal was yummy. We had a great time and we will definitely return to this restaurant. we highly recommend this place.

I lost my appetite before getting my food,so I can't tell you how it tastes,it took 45 mins wait to get my order,just one person taking order ,serving,one person cooking too🙄

Great little place to bring some much needed diversity to this area. Sushi was decent. I had the tanuki roll, not as crunchy as I'd like, but I'm not looking for much. Didn't try the tamago (you can pretty much base how good a sushi place by how much time/care they put into this very unpopular dish). I also had the Katsu curry and it's pretty good as well, reminds me of a dish I get at a Japanese curry house back home in San Francisco/Bay area. Will continue to come here. Also as of 10/18/2015, this place is still open.

Terrible customer service, do not order for delivery!Called 3x asking about our food and they lied 3x saying driver is on his way. Eventually canceled our order.I can recommend Sushi Cafe, great sushi, great service!

We arrived at this spot for a meeting. my friend recommended this spot. Well, we were not disappointed. The staff members welcomed us with a smile and we had an excellent feeling. The food was just great. We loved this restaurant very much and we will definitely return to this restaurant. Keep it up.

Excellent staff and prices! The sushi chefs are very kind and very timely. On rare occasions, I have had to wait a but for an order for pick up, but otherwise this is a very pleasant place. Small inside and quaint. One of the better Sushi Restaurants in the area.

SUPER overpriced . And the sushi is bland.

Loved this place but last week I went to eat there and it looks like it has been closed for a few months at least. The building is being remodeled for another business that will be moving in according to the sign on the door. Too bad....it was great food for a great price.

Foods not bad but super over priced. The inside is dirty looking.. the walls and the chairs are gross and customer service is not very pleasant at all. My plate was chipped on the side, id be embarrased to serve that. Pretty disappointing lunch.

Ichiban close to me and has been a staple of my diet when it comes to Japanese food. Since they deliver, it's my top choice for delivery. I love their volcano roll, udon noodles, fried ice cream, the fried calamari (which if I remember was served with a tempura sauce)and their sushi bar!

Introduced to me by my co-worker, and amazing. The Katsu-Curry is like being straight back in Tokyo or Kanazawa in Japan. Its just perfect. The Miso soup is made just right as well. You can eat typical Japanese food out of Japan which is just so amazing, for a decent price. The food matches the prices in the menu very well, which is a rarity. The Phad-thai (pronounced pat-eye) though not a Japanese dish is often eaten in Tokyo and it is like being transported back to Japan for that dish as well. The decorations also look authentic, and on the other tables, I always hear the other patrons speaking in Japanese. Service for me has been at the level you would expect in Japan (excellent).

I had a boy named Hussain help me and he was the best employee I've ever been given. 15/10 would go again if he is there.

I was so impressed with Ichiban's sushi that I had to write a review. I never write reviews but I needed to let everyone that was wondering, if your going to eat at one sushi place ever THIS IS IT! They actually put a nice piece of fish in your rolls, and the FOOD IS SO FRESH it's unbelievable! I think this might be the best sushi I have ever had! For the price and the quality I don't think I have ever been happier! I've eaten at so many different sushi places and I noticed the more west you go in NJ the worse the fish taste, but this place is A+++ . I live in caldwell and have tried a couple different places and this place is by far the best not only in town but the best I ever had! Keep up the good work and this place deserves every review it gets!
